    Kids Craft Day for Thanksgiving

    On Saturday, Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. till 11:30 Jill King will be having Thanksgiving crafts for kids age 3 through 5th grade. She would appreciate any parents that can stay and help the kids with their crafts. Kids should wear old clothes that if they get paint on them, it won’t matter.

    XYZ’s

    The November meeting of the XYZ’s will be on Friday, November 29, instead of our regular meeting day. We will be going to the Robert Allerton Conference Center to see the holiday decorations. Admission to the house is $10.00 and we will be going to lunch in Monticello before. Please call Pauline Meier at 643-7448 or the church office.

    Christmas Play

    If you are willing to help with the Christmas Play, please call Karen Henderson, 328-4473 or Anne Parker, 367-1813. There will be an information meeting today at 3:00 p.m. for actors (grade school thru high school). Please cone to the sanctuary.

    Joys and Concerns from last Sunday

    Anne Parker & Karen Henderson shared the joy of the first organizational meeting for the Christmas play is today at 10:00.

    Karen Henderson’s joy for her mother’s birthday on Tuesday.

    Dale Hubert’s joy for 62 years with one lovely sweetheart.

    Bill & Joy Valentine’s joy for Cathy Moeller being back in her apartment. She thanks the church for calls, cards, & prayers.

    Shirley Jenkins’ joy for a successful bazaar with all the women of Grace.

    Beth Morgan’s joy that her brother, Mark, is being instated as Commander in Chief of the Naval Reserve Center in Billings, Montana. Concern for family who are traveling & for Terry who injured his eye with a piece of wood while sawing a board yesterday.

    Nancy Bible concern for Velma James who fell & her hip may be broken and also, for Beulah Noel who is not doing good & needs prayers for healing.

    Georgia Hillery joy that Cathy Moeller got home Saturday & still needs our prayers& concerns for Elsa Walden who had lung surgery & now has pneumonia. She needs our prayers & also for Velma James.

    Joy that Mary Harshbarger will be celebrating her 98th birthday.

    Gordy Wilson concern & prayers for his family on the death of his sister, Frances early this morning after a stroke yesterday.

    Todd Searing’s joy that his brother-in-law has a new joy and his sister Gretchen & family are visiting Urbana this week.

    Marcia Burns’ joy for Adam’s 12 birthday yesterday & they are pleased to have Scott’s parents with them this past week, as well as their friend Jeanie Egmon to help celebrate Adam’s birthday.

    Marilyn Wright joy for the fun at last week’s weiner roast & hay ride.

    Ted & Jessica Hartke’s concern for Charles Laflen’s health.

    We praise God for our joys and answered prayers. We continue lifting up those who are still in need of our prayers, those that are recovering from surgery, facing new surgery, and those that are grieving or ill.
