XYZ’s
The November meeting of the XYZ’s will be on Friday, November 29,
instead of our regular meeting day. We will be going to the Robert Allerton
Conference Center to see the holiday decorations. Admission to the house is
$10.00 and we will be going to lunch in Monticello before. Please call

Christmas Play
The parts have been handed out - but we still have room for more kids.
Come and be a part of "Hotel Bethlehem" - 3:00 today! Any adults interested

A Living Christmas Tree Cantata
St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sadorus, IL will again celebrate the birth of
Jesus with "A Living Christmas Tree", and invite our congregation to join
them on Saturday, December 7 at 4:30 & 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 8 at
4:30 p.m. The performances are free, but you will need a ticket. For
tickets, call 598-2259. If no one is available to take your call, please
leave your name and address on the machine & they will get back with you.
Immediate Need for Volunteers
in Mission near Peoria
The Native American Fellowship is in immediate need of volunteers to
assist with some building renovation at Seven Circles Heritage Center,
Edwards, IL. The Fellowship is a missional ministry of the United Methodist
Church, and is pastored by missionary, Rev/ Carol Lakota Eastin. The group
is working with Seven Circles Heritage Center to renovate an old cement
block building in order to have a meeting place for winter.
Materials are already available but our laborers are few.
Location is 10 miles west of Peoria, just 2 miles from Wildlife Prairie
Park.

We need to start planning now for Christmas and begin by placing our
orders for poinsettias. We need your order by December 6th. Cost
of poinsettias are $7.00 each.
