Joys and Concerns
from last Sunday
Sharing the joy of Richard’s birthday Sept. 9 & Sharon King’s birthday
Sept. 17.
Joy & Bill Valentine’s joy in having their friend Kay Meek’s here from
Michigan.
Gary & Audrey Rickett’s joy in their 44th wedding anniversary
& concern for continued prayers for Glenn Denner in Alabama.
Janet Fredrick joy that her mother, aunt and herself are still recovering
and doing much better.
Carolyn Dickey’s joy & thanks God for their grandchildren for they are a
blessing.
Jen King concern that school is really overwhelming but it is her last
semester before student teaching.
Eric Hays joy that his uncle, Steven Lirely, who is back home after a
heart attack and triple bi-pass heart surgery.
Melissa Hays concern for a family, close to her, that lost their father
to a heart attack last week.
Judy Wright is so thankful to God that her daughter, Susan has obtained
her first "real" job since college graduation last May.
Patsy Hammond concern for prayers for staff at Thomas Paine School as
they go through some restructure this week.

Linda Entwistle joy for the gracious help given by several people over
the past month during fellowship time. Thank you all!

Ted & Jessica Hartke concern for a friend going through a difficult
divorce, also for Virginia Ashcraft still battling terminal colon cancer.

Doug Bauling joy for Mary’s continuing gain of strength & that they have
finally had a diagnosis and treatment has started for Mary - long term but
curable.
Rose McCarthy concern for Randy’s family in the loss of his grandmother &
uncle in the past month.
We praise God for our joys and answered prayers. We continue lifting up
those who are still in need of our prayers, those that are recovering from
surgery, facing new surgery, and those that are grieving or ill.

XYZ’S FALL TOUR The
XYZ’s will be going on their "Color Drive to Indiana" on Thursday, October
10th. We will leave the church at 10 am, we are planning to eat
at the "Covered Bridge Restaurant" at Eugene. There will be a guided tour of
Ernie Pyle Historical site and we might find a new "pumpkin patch". We will
need your reservations in by October 7th, so please call Ron &
Berniel at 328-2632 and plan to join this fun group as we tour some of
the sites and beauty of the Fall season.
