All women of the church are invited to attend. Please bring a dish to
share and your own table service. The Urbana High School Madrigal singers
will be sharing their music. The names of Christian Buddies will be revealed
and new names drawn for next year. We hope you can join us for this
enjoyable event. Bring a guest!

consider donating an item to bring next Sunday, Dec. 8 in the "Walk to the
Manger" during the worship service. Please do not wrap the gifts. These
gifts are used to meet the daily and special needs of the children and youth

Joys
and Concerns from last Sunday
Dean & Lois Schafroth joy for Bill & Marilyn Gladson’s wedding
anniversary this week.
Howard & Ruth McIntosh joy for being back with our children, friends &
church family and their concern for their son Jim who will have a kidney
transplant and concern for their daughter Barbara who will be the donor.
Please keep them in your prayers.
Miranda McCarthy’s concern for her friend Lauren who’s house burnt down.
Martha Rosenbery’s joy for Pastor Mike’s 30 years of ministry celebrated
today and thanks to God and the saints for their prayers for her family with
the death of her mother, Ada Martin. She rejoices with her that her spirit
is with God and she walks, runs and dances before Him. Her concern for her
father, Ed who is very frail - that he have God’s strength & encouragement.
Mandy Wood’s concern for one of her students who’s mother was just
diagnosed with bone cancer.
Marcia Burns’ joy & being so happy to have her mother visiting this week.
Concern for family & friends of Rev. Solomon Jadhav, District
Superintendent of Okaw River District, who died in a car accident on
Tuesday.
Gary & Audrey Ricketts’ joy for the beauty of this day and the
celebration of Mike’s 30 years in the ministry and concern for travel
mercies for their trip to Alabama for Thanksgiving.
Linda Entwistle’s joy for the many people who so generously have
volunteered their time & talents through the First Fruits survey.
Janice Roy concern for June Michelson who is in Urbana Manor Care.
Richard King’s joy for all God’s blessings, too many to count, but
including Benjamin’s birthday today.
Jill King’s concern for Peter Dumich during bone marrow transplant and
for family of Barb Nolechek who passed away Thursday after long battle with
cancer.
Linda Halbach’s concern for her niece, Tammy’s health and nephew & family
as they travel to Texas.
Joy & Bill Valentine’s concern for Dianne Bass, who is taking chemo
again, but doing as well as expected.
Genelle Ingram’s concern for Dorothy Collins, after her accident. A
ladder fell on her and she had stitches but is okay.
Carolyn Dickey’s joy comes in different shapes & sizes. Her’s is two
little girls discovering God! Concern & prayers for Beulah Noel who is
recovering at Manor Care the 3rd floor - hoping to go home soon!
Judie Swanson’s joy for God’s continuing blessings on each of us and
concern for her parents, Clarence & Jessie Nash, with health problems.
Pam Lukemire’s joy that her aunt survived open heart surgery and is doing
well.
Ritchie Barnett’s joy that his grandmother, Jeannine Barnett, birthday
was Friday.
Benjamin King’s joy that it’s his 12th birthday.
Helen Koss’ concern for her daughter, Maxine Brumleve, who fell and broke
her left arm and is doing fairly well, but still needs our prayers.
We praise God for our joys and answered prayers. We continue lifting up
those who are still in need of our prayers, those that are recovering from
surgery, facing new surgery, and those that are grieving or ill.
If you know of someone in our church who is sick or in the hospital,
please call the church office 328-1414 and let us know.
