and Concerns from last Sunday
Concern from Lisa Searing that there is one slot left on our nursery
helper sign-up sheet for one Sunday once month a month for one year.
Pat Price concern for her mother in the hospital in Centralia & she is
having problems after surgery.
Ted & Jessica joy for Jessica’s Aunt Brenda, who was paralyzed in an
accident this summer, was able to move her legs this week and concern for
their friend Virginia Ashcraft who lost her battle with cancer yesterday &
prayers for her family.
Dale Johnston’s joy for Marsha’s birthday yesterday.
Jop Long joy for Aaron’s baptism & for having their family here to
share this day and concern for her parents’ trip back to India & prayers
for a safe tripback this week.
Karen Henderson concern for her Aunt Lois Mickey who is at Carle
recovering from a mild stroke.
Luann Wiedenmann concern for co-worker who soon will be going through
cancer treatment.
Anne Parker concern for Lois Mickey as she copes with health issues and
her concern about her own independence.
Joan O’Connell joy & thankfulness for God’s protection of Valparaiso
Cross Country runners during the tornado in Indiana on Friday.
Joy & Bill Valentine joy to see Mary Bauling here today.
Georgia Hillery joy that her sister Mildred is getting along very well
and concern for Nancy Bible who isn’t feeling very well this morning.
Wanda Adams concern & prayers for Lois Mickey for her continued
recovery from a light stroke.
Diane & Michael Pittman joy in having Diane’s parents visiting today
from Faith UMC.
Mary Bauling joy to be back in church this morning - thanks to my
church family for all the cards, prayers & concerns.
Sharon King joy that a local Urbana girl is crowned Miss America last
evening.
Karen Henderson concern for Aunt Lois in the hospital recovering from a
stroke.
Barb Wood concern & prayers for my friend Alice.
Mary Bradley concern for her son, Clarence, who is still not better &
still having tests. Please keep in your prayers.
Judie Swanson joy for God’s wonderful blessings & concern for a
complete recovery for Stacy Salovitch, a U of I student to who she gave
First Aid till the ambulance arrived.
The Entwistles joy for the Cherub Choir’s first performance of the
year; and for Karley & Emily, our newest members.
We praise God for our joys and answered prayers. We continue lifting up
those who are still in need of our prayers, those that are recovering from
surgery, facing new surgery, and those that are grieving or ill.
