LAST WEEK:

Lots of people seem to be squeezing in a few days away before the new school year and new season arrive. Rev. Mike is one of those; he is away for a week with his family. Gary Ricketts will be leading both worship services this Sunday. Rev. Mike will be back in the office next Wednesday.

Thursday, August 23:* The Children's ministry team meeting has been CANCELED for this evening.

J.O.Y. sharing group will meet at 7:00 in the parlor.

Friday, August 24: * Last chance to drop off school supplies! Bring them to the church before noon.

Saturday, August 25:* Work trip to the Midwest Mission Distribution Center.

Departure at 7:15 a.m. Junior high age and over mayparticipate. Contact Karilyn Newnam.

Sunday, August 26: Grace Years worship service at Parkview in Savoy at 2:00.

Grace Years worship service at Sunnycrest at 4:00.

Monday, August 27: Grace Years at Prairie Winds (small group) at 6:00.

Tuesday, August 28: Quilters will meet at 6:30.

* The Angelus hand bells will resume weekly rehearsals at 6:30 in the music room. New members are welcome!
