MID-WEEK LETTER from Grace United Methodist Church

June 14, 2007 Editor: Linda Entwistle

LAST WEEK:

Did attendance at worship service look a bit thin last Sunday morning?

Nine families from Grace Church and one guest family were away for the annual campout. A total of 23 people gathered at a worship service at the campground- they were with us in spirit, if not in body.

Some of you noticed the absence of slides on Sunday morning. Potentially, we have four people who could help with that. Unfortunately, all four of them were traveling last weekend! If you are familiar with PowerPoint and would be willing (on rare occasions) to be present at each worship service on a Sunday morning to run the slide show, please let the office know.

Tom Johansen was baptized last Sunday afternoon. Due to how chilly the weather was during the planning stages, it was decided to forego an outdoor venue. The Philo Road Church of Christ graciously let us have the use of their baptistry.
