MID-WEEK LETTER from Grace United Methodist Church May 10, 2007 Editor: Linda Entwistle LAST WEEK: Popcorn and the first planting of sweet corn went into the ground 10 days ago. I've been told that it has come up, but could use a little rain. Jim Roush says we should be eating fresh corn shortly after the Fourth of July. ********** FOOD PANTRY NEEDS: fruits, jelly, gelatin desserts

Thursday, May 10: J.O.Y. sharing group will meet in the parlor at 7:00. Sunday, May 13: * The Cherub Choir will be bringing us the message at both worship services today! (Rev. Mike will be attending Alison's graduation.) Grace Years worship service at Parkview in Savoy at 2:00. * The high school youth fellowship will take a break for the rest of the month, due to Mothers' Day (13th), the Spring concert (20th), and Memorial Day weekend (27th). Monday, May 14: Growing in Grace rehearsal at 4:00 in the sanctuary. Finance committee will meet at 7:00.
Tuesday, May 15: Quilters will meet at 6:30. Angelus hand bell choir will rehearse at 6:30 in the music room. Chancel Choir will rehearse at 7:30 in the sanctuary. Wednesday, May 16: Men's Breakfast Group will meet at 6:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall. Cherub Choir will practice at 5:30. Life Song will practice at 6:30 at the Aters' home. WellSpring service at 7:30 in the sanctuary.
