Hayrack Ride/Weiner Roast - October 27
Loaves & Fishes are planning a Hayrack Ride and Weiner Roast for
Sunday, Oct. 27 at the Miner Farm (located on Rt.150 on way to Mahomet).
It will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. The church will provide hotdogs, buns,
condiments & drinks. Please bring side dishes. Any questions contact,
James Wright, 328-4807 or the church office..
Butter Braids
The UMW will be selling Butter Braids again this year with Faith UMW..
They have, apple, cherry, cinnamon, cream cheese, maple nut, & raspberry.
The cost is $9.00 each or 3 for $25 or 6 for $48. They must have your
orders & money by November 4th. There will be someone from
the UMW taking orders in the narthex today and for the next 2 Sundays.

Joys and
Concerns from last Sunday Matt Peters' joy that today is his
brother Jordan’s 9th birthday and concern for safe travel for his
Dad’s family on vacation on the east coast.
Chuck & Alpharetta Preston concern for travel mercies as they leave for
Florida this week June Schwartz concern for the health of June’s friend’s
mother who is in the hospital.
Julie Smith concern for the people living in fear in Virginia &
Maryland.
Evelyn Fibikar concern for their grandson, Kyle, who is to have heart
surgery on Monday.
Remember him and their family in your prayers.
Terry Morgan for serious health concerns for his sister.
Pat Price concern for her daughter Liz & her family.
Richard King concern for his sister-in-law who is running a marathon in
Victoria Canada.
Mandy Wood concern for health problems her mom is facing.
Blair Hammond joy for 45 wonderful years with Patsy.
Beth Morgan concern for her mother, Norma, as she and her family deal
with the death of her sister and her husband who is in critical condition
in the hospital following a car accident in Iowa.
Gary & Audrey Ricketts joy for meeting and hearing Miss America last
night and for her strong Christian witness.
Dale & Marsha Johnston joy for Kenneth’s 10th birthday and Kaylyn’s 2nd
birthday this week.
We praise God for our joys and answered prayers. We continue lifting up
those who are still in need of our prayers, those that are recovering from
surgery, facing new surgery, and those that are grieving or ill.
If you know of someone in our church who is sick or in the hospital,
please call the church office 328-1414 and let us know.

Bazaar - Saturday, Nov. 2, 8:30-2:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall
Features include a coffee shop, lunch, gifts, attic treasures, home-baked
goods, plants and “second time around” jewelry.
Do you have any jewelry that you haven’t worn for some time? Would you
like to donate it to the bazaar’s “second time around” jewelry booth? We
are in need of used jewelry. Please bring the jewelry to the church before
Nov. 2.
Items are also being accepted for the Attic Treasures Booth. Please
bring them to the church the week before the bazaar.
Donations of baked goods, plants and craft items for the bazaar are
also greatly appreciated. Thank you.
