Philo Road Kids Fair
There will be a short meeting on Monday evening at 5:00 p.m. for the
people who signed-up to help with the Philo Road Kids Fair. If you can’t
make it at that time, please contact Marilyn Wright, 328-4807.

Vacation Bible School "Philo Road Kids’ Fair" - July 15-19, 5:30-8 p.m.
We invite all children to come and bring a friend. Supper will be served
at 5:30 p.m. There are pamphlets in the Narthex so you can pre-register your
child or children.

Joys and
Concerns from last Sunday Gordy Wilson joy for the birth of a new
grandson, Joel Garret Wilson on July 3 to Ryan & Melissia Wilson and a safe
return from Bloomington yesterday when the Buick died and Cory’s 25th
birthday today.
Jill King joy for all the love & concern this church family shows to my
family.
Victor Christman joy even in defeat, there were no serious injuries in
Friday nights softball game and concern for Matthew who has a slight fever
this morning.
Bill & Joy Valentine concern for nephew Mike, visiting & admitted to the
hospital for testing.
Doug Bauling joy for 17 men, women & boys who worked on the garage
yesterday. More was accomplished than anticipated. Thanks to all!
Doug & Mary Bauling joy for Bob King’s successful surgery last and his
continuing recovery.
Marilyn Wright joy that we have planned a really fun week for the Philo
Road Kids Fair and concern that we have lots of kids come to enjoy it.
Joy Valentine joy for her 45th class reunion this week-end & a
wonderful time was had by all.
Carolyn Dickey had a grief & a joy that her sister, Nellie Wilson, whose
funeral was yesterday but had 83 years with her family.
Carl Erb concern for the John Williford family. John died on Friday.
Tom & Nancy Welch concern for family friends & all those living in Texas
enduring the enormous floods.
Norma Ripkey joy for her children & their families for their wonderful
assistance in the transitions of her move and she thanks God every day for
the blessing of her family.
Ted & Jessica Hartke joy for Brenda Mockbee’s continued improvement & she
starts re-hab this week.
Truman & Pat Price joy & very thankful to be in church this morning &
want to thank everyone for their prayers & concerns.
Patsy Hammond joy in leaving for Seattle Wednesday to visit daughter &
granddaughters and concern for Blair taking care of himself till he leaves
on July 18 & prayers for safe flight for both of them.
Gary & Audrey Ricketts joy for healing of burns on Audrey’s arms and Bob
King’s recovery from bi-pass surgery and concern for travel mercies for
daughter, son-in-law & grandchildren.
Concern for Wanda Adams who fell in the parking lot on her way out from
first service.
Judie Swanson joy for God’s many blessings & the strength he gives those
who suffer & grieve and concern as she makes a career decision.
Mindy Smith joy for leaving this week to attend a friend’s wedding and
concern for a co-worker of Alison, whose friends were in a car accident.
Sharon King concern for Richard & Benjamin to survive 2 weekends in a row
of camping in the heat & that Benjamin stays safe all week at scout camp
without a parent.
Continue in prayer for those that are recovering from surgery, or
grieving and those who are ill.
