During his pastoral residency at Marysville Grace Church, Pastor Jordan felt the distinct call to plant a church in Urbana, OH. In early 2021, 10 families from MGC obediently followed God’s call to be a part of that church plant. The Urbana Grace life group began meeting, praying, and asking God to open doors into the community. Through Healthy Kids Day, a worship night and a successful Fall Fest, we began to see this prayer answered.

God opened that door even more clearly in the form of the Champaign Family YMCA. In October of 2021, UGC held its first monthly worship service. In March of 2022, UGC moved from the entryway into the gymnasium of the YMCA and began meeting weekly. As we remain faithful to the Gospel, we desire to be a community of believers with the mission to Love God, Love People and Follow Jesus.
